Azerbaijan Government Scholarships: Heydar Aliyev – International Educational Grant Program 2025/26

The Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced an excellent opportunity for Pakistani and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) nationals through the prestigious Heydar Aliyev – International Educational Grant Program 2025/26. This fully funded scholarship is designed to strengthen educational and diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and friendly nations, providing a platform for academic and cultural exchange.
Pakistani and AJ&K nationals are eligible for three (3) scholarship seats under this program: one for each of the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs.  Pakistan's Higher Education Commission (HEC), which acts as the nominating authority, will make the selections for these few but extremely competitive jobs.

 Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a Pakistani/AJ&K national.
-must have the academic credentials required for the level at which they are applying (intermediate for bachelor's, bachelor's for master's, and master's for doctorate).  
-Academic and age requirements established by Azerbaijani universities and program standards must be met.  -Candidates should exhibit a solid academic foundation, leadership abilities, and a desire to promote global collaboration.
Application Procedure: In accordance with the guidelines, interested candidates must apply through the HEC Scholarship Portal and attach all necessary documentation.  Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time on May 15, 2025.  It is important to remember that the Azerbaijani government will only nominate one candidate per degree level (Bachelor, Master, and PhD).  Thus, only the best applicants in each category will be taken into account.
